When getting Vehicle Shipping Your automobile, It Will Be Driven

Your automobile will need to be driven in order to be loaded and unloaded upon the vehicle transport company carrier truck. It may need to be driven in order to unload other vehicles. It may need to be driven in order to park it on a different vehicle shipping company carrier truck. It may need to be moved to another auto transport truck if that is necessary for shipment or if there is a problem with the original carrier truck.

Auto shipping companies do all they can to minimize the risk to your vehicle and the number of instances it will need to be moved or driven. If you have concerns, feel free to ask your car transport company about the things that concern you. They can go over their service record and insurance coverage with you, as well as their hiring policies for their drivers.

Talk to your own vehicle insurance company before you ship your vehicle through an auto shipping company. They may have advice for you or a list of questions to ask the vehicle shipping company.

Do not leave personal possessions in your car, and be sure to thoroughly inspect it before shipment and upon vehicle delivery.

Your automobile being driven is a normal part of the vehicle shipping process; and the odds are that your vehicle will not come to any harm. Because it will need to be driven, however, your auto transport company may need you to leave a door unlocked. It will also need you to turn off any alarm systems that your vehicle may have. There may be additional fees if the driver is locked out of your vehicle or needs to deal with an alarm going off - especially if it goes off while the carrier truck is on the road.
