When There Are No Local Auto Shipping Companies

If you are searching for a company to use in order to ship your vehicle, and cannot find one in your town, you still have options.

Your first option is to utilize the services of an auto shipping location company to not only help find any unlisted or unadvertised auto shipping companies in your area, but to also help you locate any that will pick up vehicles in your town.

Your next option is to do an internet search yourself for any possible unlisted or unadvertised local auto shipping companies, as well as those that may pick up vehicles in your town. This can be time-consuming but it can be done. Be sure to use key words such as your town and state’s name, the phrase “auto shipping”, and the word “pick up.”

Another option is to arrange for the transport of your vehicle to a location that is serviced by an auto shipping company. You could hire a driver, or drive the vehicle yourself. You may also choose to have the vehicle towed to the location, though this could be the most costly option of all.

Be sure if you find a non-local auto shipping company willing to come to your town in order to pick up your vehicle that you find out any extra charges that may be assessed for this service. Take care to ask if any fees or taxes will be applied to those charges, as well.

One last consideration is that the company you choose will not only pick up your vehicle in your town, but that they will deliver it to the destination of your choice. If they do not have an office at the destination, ask if they can still drop off there. There may be an extra fee for such a service.
