Shipping More Than One Vehicle at a Time

Shipping more than one vehicle at a time is absolutely possible. There are only a few additional things that you will need to consider. The cost will be increased, as compared to only shipping one vehicle. Making sure there is room on the same auto shipping carrier truck will be a concern. This will help ensure all the vehicles may be picked up and delivered at the same time.

Making arrangements for the pick up and delivery of more than one vehicle at a time may take some special arrangements on your part. As with shipping one vehicle, when you ship more than one vehicle at a time you will want to allow as much time in advance as possible in order to make arrangements with your auto shipping company.

Ask your auto shipping company about any other considerations above and beyond what you need to do for shipping one vehicle. Be sure to get clear photos of each vehicle and to keep all tracking and other information handy. Inspect each vehicle carefully before shipment and upon delivery. If each vehicle is given separate paperwork, keep it together, but make sure each set of papers is clearly identifiable as to which vehicle it pertains.

If you are shipping internationally, there will be additional considerations as far as paperwork, and possibly time. Ask your shipping carrier about written guarantees that your vehicles will be shipped together.

Be sure to get all estimates and guarantees in writing, and read all the fine print before signing anything. Remember that a deposit will likely be required upfront, and the amount of the deposit may be higher due to more than one auto being shipped. Ask your auto shipping company if they offer any discounts for shipping more than one vehicle at a time.
